On this matter, WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart said that this is a warning about the security on the Internet that mobile phones should be made safe for all people. Catchcart asks Apple to work towards keeping its devices safe from malware threats.
He also said that Apple users need not worry about security, as only a few thousand people’s information has been leaked. Cathcart told The Guardian that such cyber attacks have affected human rights defenders around the world. He further said that when one person’s phone is not secure, no one’s phone is secure.
