Facebook said in its blog that end-to-end encryption is being given in calls. Explaining the reason for this, the company said that 150 million calls are being made on the platform every day. The feature is already available on Facebook-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp.
New feature for disparaging messages
Meanwhile, a small update will also be available in the text conversation. Messenger has the Disparing Message feature, with the help of which the sender can send the message for a limited time. And the user can choose the period in which it will be available. These include one minute, 15 minutes, one hour and 24 hours. Now Facebook users have also been given the facility to choose the period of availability of the dispatching message. It will last between 5 seconds and 24 hours.

Also, the platform is beta testing some other features as well. For example, the platform will soon be testing end-to-end encryption features for group video and voice chats. In which some users will get the feature to make encrypted group voice and video calls with friends and family with whom they have already chatted or they are already connected. Apart from this, there will also be a limited test to test the encryption of direct messages on Instagram. In some countries, adults will be able to choose end-to-end encrypted messages and calls between two people on Instagram.
