Let us tell you that on Monday, 2 players of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier have been found to be Corona positive. Due to this the match of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and KKR was postponed. Shortly after, the report of the bowling coach being Kovid positive came from CSK’s camp. BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla has confirmed that IPL 2021 has been postponed. He gave this information through tweet. The decision to postpone the IPL was taken especially in view of the sentiment and the current situation in the country. IPL chairman Brijesh Patel told PTI that the tournament has been postponed indefinitely. We will try to organize it whenever possible in future, but it is not likely to happen in this month.
