
IPL 2020 will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 19 September. Ahead of the start of the game, India has introduced special emoji for all the teams participating in the tournament. The social media platform has also shared a tweet on its official profile along with a GIF showcasing everyone.
Emoji launch for all teams
A total of eight teams are going to play in this tournament. These include Kings XI Punjab, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The GIF clip shared by shows several emoji and hashtags in different languages for these teams.
Fans can use the new team emoji in their conversations about the IPL team. These special team emoji are available in English and six Indian languages. Some of these hashtags are: #OneFamily, #WhistlePodu, #PlayBold, #KorboLorboJeetbo, #SaddaPunjab, #OrangeArmy, #HallaBol and #YehHaiNayiDilli. You can use these emoji to support your favorite team. Fans will also be able to use them in live conversations.

First match on 19th September
Let us tell you that the first match will be between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in Abu Dhabi. IPL will be played from 19 September to 8 November in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This will be a full flanged tournament. IPL has become possible after the decision of the ICC to postpone the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia in October-November 2020. The host country had expressed its inability to organize the IPL due to the corona virus epidemic.
