The ICC has given information related to this on its website that the rehabilitation process of Rohit Sharma was being done at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore but now he is completely fit and ready to join his team.
The Indian team has gone to Australia to play 3 ODIs, 3 T20s and four Test matches. Of these, India lost 1-2 in the ODI series, while the Indian team won 2-1 in the T20I series.

Quarantine will remain for 14 days
The Indian team felt the lack of Rohit Sharma in the ODI and T20 series. He was not included in the initial series due to an injury suffered during the IPL but was included in the Test team. Despite this, he did not go to Australia with the team and stayed for rest in rehabilitation. Now the NCA has approved him to play, then Rohit will go to Australia. However, he will not be able to meet the team for two weeks now because on reaching Australia, according to the Corona guidelines, he will have to be quarantined for 14 days.

Out of this, the first match will start on December 17 but Rohit Sharma cannot be a part of it as he will have to remain quarantined during this time. After the completion of the quarantine period, he will be tested for health and after that he will be able to participate in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. If everything goes well, then Rohit Sharma will be able to be a part of the Indian team from the third test match. The third test match will start from January 7 next year.
